PASADENA 19th July 2011 — The National Aeronautics and Space Administration recognized our work as part of the Informatics Team of the Early Detection Research Network. The award was cited for:

… innovative and pioneering use of NASA data system technologies to construct a novel and remarkably successful national bioinformatics network for cancer biomarker research.

Daniel Crichton, the principal investigator of the Informatics Center effort, accepted the award on behalf of all the awardees on the JPL Mall on the morning of the 19th of July, 2011. The following teams were all recognized for the contributions towards this award:
